Folasade Ethel Ogunsanya, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Folasade Ethel Ogunsanya is a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of experience in delivering patient-centered care. With a strong foundation in both mental health and general nursing, Folasade has dedicated her career to improving the lives of patients through a combination of clinical expertise and a deep commitment to holistic care. Folasade obtained her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Walden University. Her academic background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Texas Tech University, where she graduated with honors. Folasade’s educational journey laid the groundwork for her extensive clinical experience, which spans various settings, including hospitals, correctional facilities, and outpatient clinics.

Throughout her career, Folasade has held key roles that demonstrate her leadership and clinical acumen. She has served as a Charge Nurse, leading teams of healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care. Her experience at institutions such as West Oaks Hospital and Memorial Hermann Hospital has equipped her with the skills to manage complex cases, administer medications, and provide both acute and long-term care to diverse patient populations. Folasade’s approach to care is rooted in her belief in the importance of mental health and its impact on overall well-being. As a PMHNP-BC, she is proficient in diagnosing and treating a range of psychiatric conditions, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Her patient-focused philosophy emphasizes the importance of individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

In addition to her clinical work, Folasade is dedicated to ongoing professional development.
